Configure Product Availability for Your Shopping App From Shopify Admin
AfterShip App Builder is a free native mobile app builder for Shopify stores to launch their Android and iOS apps with a single click of a button.
Are their products/collections you want to display on your online store but not on the mobile shopping app? You can select products and collections you want to display both on your online store and mobile store, or on your online store, but not on the mobile store and vice versa by following the steps given below.
To make the product available on your mobile store,
Go to your Shopify store admin.
Click on the “Products” tab > All products.
Select a product by checking off the box given on the left-hand side of each product.
Once a product is selected, click on the dropdown button given beside the “Active” button.
The dropdown will give you all the active “SALES CHANNELS AND APPS” your store is currently integrated with.
Navigate to “More Actions” > Click on,
Add available channel(s) - To make the selected product available on the active channels. Amongst one of those channels, you will see “AfterShip App Builder”. Select the checkbox of AfterShip App Builder and click “Make products available.” The selected product will be active on your mobile store.
Remove available channel(s) - To make the selected product unavailable on the active channels. Amongst one of those channels, you will see “AfterShip App Builder”. Select the checkbox of AfterShip App Builder and click “Make products unavailable.” The selected product will be no longer available on your mobile store.
To make collections available on your mobile store,
Go to your Shopify store admin.
Click on the “Collections” tab
Select a collection by checking off the box given on the left-hand side of each product.
Once a collection is selected, navigate to “More Actions” > Click on,
Add collection available - To make the selected collection available on the active channels. Amongst one of those channels, you will see “AfterShip App Builder”. Select the checkbox of AfterShip App Builder and click “Make products available.” The selected collection will become active on your mobile store.
Remove collection unavailable - To make the selected collection unavailable on the active channels. Amongst one of those channels, you will see “AfterShip App Builder”. Select the checkbox of AfterShip App Builder and click “Make collection unavailable.” The selected collection will be no longer available on your mobile store.
Note: You can also bulk select products and collections and configure their availability on your mobile store by following the steps mentioned above.
